The Phaser Game Jam is an educational competition aimed at high school students with a focus on computer science across the Campania region. Its goal is to introduce students to video game development using TypeScript and the Phaser framework.

The game jam presents a creative challenge where students work on creating a video game based on a common theme. The initiative is designed to stimulate problem-solving, teamwork, and the practical application of programming skills learned at school, all within a dynamic and engaging environment.

All information about the competition, past editions, rules, and a collection of games developed by participating students is available on the official website: phaser-gamejam.web.app. The platform also serves as a showcase to highlight the projects created by technical institutes and computer science high schools in the Campania region.

The Phaser Game Jam is conceived as a learning experience that combines education and creativity, allowing students to apply fundamental concepts such as JavaScript programming, algorithm logic, 2D game development, and software design.

Participating in the competition is not only a fun way to create a video game, but also an opportunity to enhance your school portfolio, gain new technical skills, and interact with students from different schools across Campania.

If you are a computer science student, a teacher, or a school interested in developing digital skills, visit the official Phaser Game Jam website to learn how to participate.

The next challenge will take place on March 13–14, 2026.
